Cara Untuk Membuka Fail Backup Nokia PC/OVI Suite

Kali ni aku akan menunjukkan bagaimana cara untuk membuka fail backup Nokia yang telah dilakukan menggunakan Nokia PC Suite atau OVI Suite.

korang mungkin memerlukan ini kerana fail backup itu menggunakan telefon yang telah korang tidak milikinya lagi sekarang tapi korang perlukannya kerana terdapat fail/mesej/contact yg penting di dalam.
Atau korang tidak mahu untuk restore satu fail tersebut sebaliknya hanya mahukan beberapa fail untuk disalin semula ke dalam.

Jika korang mahu membuka fail ini untuk melihat kandungannya, di sini aku menggunakan dua program iaitu Noki dan juga NBU Explorer. Oh ya, extension untuk fail backup ini ialah *.nbu.

Noki bukan sahaja boleh membuka fail *.nbu malah juga fail *.nfb dan *.nfc. NBU Explorer pula boleh buka lebih banyak fail iaitusemua yg diatas dan juga *.arc (fail backup yg dijana sekiranya backup menggunakan telefon bimbit), *.nbf, *.mms, *.zip, *.cdb

Untuk membuka pesanan SMS pada Noki pula, perlu masuk ke folder mesej secara manual kerana tidak terdapat tab ‘message’ sepertimana yang dimiliki oleh perisian NBUexplorer.

Kelebihan Noki berbanding NBU Explorer ialah Nokia boleh save mesej, notes, contacts, calendar entry dan yang seumpamanya dalam format *.txt. Malangnya program ini bukan percuma dan versi trial hanya mampu untuk save untuk 50 fail sahaja. korang ada pilihan samada nak save dlm format asal atau dalam txt. Kalau NBU Explorer, ianya percuma tapi kalau nak save fail, dia akan save dalam format yang sebenar, tak support untuk save dalam txt.

Dalam satu-satu kes, ada fail yg tidak dapat dibuka oleh Noki dan sebaliknya bergantung kepada versi PC/Ovi Suite yang digunakan untuk melakukan backup. Jadi gunakan kedua-dua program ini untuk semak secara silang fail-fail yg terdapat dalam backup supaya tiada yang tertinggal.

Nokia Belle Custom Firmware v8.2.3 utk Nokia 5800 RM356 v60.0.003

Sejak phone Nokia 5800 aku meragam, memory card asyik auto removed jer, dan kadang-kadang keyboard tak keluar dan jugak error sana sini, so try la search CFW yang terbaru..

Check punya check firmware terbaru untuk Nokia 5800 still v60.0.003 dan mungkin yang terakhir (dulu ingatkan v52.0.001 adalah update terakhir dari Nokia utk Nokia 5800, rupanya ada lagi update).

Aku kena pilih CFW yang sama versi atau lebih baru dari v60.0.003, tak boleh lagi lama, kalau tak nanti phone korang boleh brick.

Check punya check terjumpa la CFW spt yg tertulis pada tajuk di atas. Sekarang tgh download, balik umah nanti baru nak flash. Skrg ni tgh sibuk untuk exam final.

DO BEFORE AND AFTER THE FLASH :

We do a hard reset of the phone before the flash and after we format the Memory Card
When you reboot do Flash with JAF (NOT USED PHOENIX) in the usual way. The necessary files are all available for download. Downloading from the links that you will put at the disposal of the 6 files you need to put in the folder RM-356. For a correct installation of the QT and maps you need the Flash Uda .
After the flash after switching on the device , do not touch the phone for about a minute (until the battery charge indicators and widget signal) then start the aggenda if you want the widgets visualizare notifications.
We make no further reset to not lose the benefits that the UDA in this version takes in the QT and maps

NOTE: If your phone is installed CFW prior to nokia belle os7.x, or other cfw is recommended after performing another format the Flash memory card

Nokia Belle OS 8 is available in no less than four separate versions, two with TAP AND TWO WITH SWIPE TO UNLOCK / LOCK.
The other two (TAP SWIPE) with the addition of the battery and signal indicators and a second without the latter even if the release year more preferred from you (both versions incorporate the Navibar Fine).
The difference between the four lies in the fact that the version, that without any display (operator logo can also be removed by dedicated app), better suited to the installation of the Belle topbar (enclosed in extra pack), that would otherwise encroach indicators, creating a bad result graphically.

How To Downgrade Phone

First of all, this method is only based on theory. This is not tested by myself yet. So you are free to read this article, but I not recommend to do so.

The method of downgrade is by flashing a dead phone. You can flash any firmware version on a dead phone. I read on the net that Nokia phones got security function to restrict older firmware installation. If you do so, the phone will dead. In my theory, once the phone is dead, now you can reflash the older firmware version to make your phone to live again.

Another step of getting dead phone is, you can flash the same firmware version, when the flashing process occur, quickly disconnect its usb cable. I don’t know how dead your phone if you do both methods. Either your phone screen (by pressing power key) will light up and off or it will not responding at all.

I don’t understand why peoples need to downgrade their phones. If they want to hack their phones, they can flash hacked firmware instead of installing original older firmware and hack it using HelloOX2. However, the hacked firmwares only available for s60v5 devices. So, I think this is why S60v3 owners need to downgrade their phones. But actually they can edit later firmware to put Patcher.ldd and patcher*.ldd into c:/sys/bin and install RompatcherLite after flashing that own hacked firmware.

So, this is the method to downgrade firmware based on theory only. I’ll take no responsibilities if you brick your phones by following this article.

How To Know My Phone Variant?

In this tutorial, I will show you how to determine your phone variant so that your can download the right firmware for your device to avoid buggy or brick your device. As far as I know, actually phone variant doesn’t matter. You can choose randomly. Phone variant is only for regional languages and theme. So, choosing variant that contains English will do.

You can guess the right variant by the following format:

Region example: APAC=Asia Pacific Countries, EMEA=Europe Countries

APAC = Asia Pacific
Australia, Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam.

EMEA = Europe, Middle East and Africa
EURO = Europe
MEA = Middle East and Africa

But if you still want to know your phone variant,
and it is safe to choose the correct variant,
follow the steps below:

1. Turn off your device, remove back cover and remove the battery. You can see the product code of your device.
2. You will get a seven digit code, that’s your phone variant.

3. Open Navifirm -> Choose your device -> Choose Version -> Now, did you see the code in the bracket right after the variant name? Choose the one that match the code of your phone.

4. Now you’re done. The firmware is the right one for your device.

This is a few nokia secret codes collected from the net.
The codes are not tested yet.

*#7780#, *#7370# – restore factory settings
*#67705646# – clear the LCD display
*#0000# – check firmware version
*#2820# – Bluetooth device address
*#746025625# – Sim clock allowed status
*#62209526# – Display the MAC address of the WLAN adapter

*#92702689# – takes you to a secret menu where you may find some of the information below:
1. Displays Serial Number.
2. Displays the Month and Year of Manufacture
3. Displays (if there) the date where the phone was purchased (MMYY)
4. Displays the date of the last repair – if found (0000)
5. Shows life timer of phone (time passes since last start)

*#3370# – Enhanced Full Rate Codec (EFR) activation. Increase signal strength, better signal reception. It also help if u want to use GPRS and the service is not responding or too slow. Phone battery will drain faster though.
*#3370* – (EFR) deactivation. Phone will automatically restart. Increase battery life by 30% because phone receives less signal from network.
*#4720# – Half Rate Codec activation.
*#4720* – Half Rate Codec deactivation. The phone will automatically restart

*#7370925538# – reset wallet code. All your notes in wallet will erased

*#3925538# – delete the contents and code of wallet

*#7328748263373738# – reset lock code. Default is 12345

Press and hold 0 key – open internet browser. You can change it using RomPatcher and Change0KeyApp.rmp patch

n# – (n=1,2,3,4,5,…) For example if Ahmad is the 2nd contact that you save in sim phonebook, when you press 2#, Ahmad’s phone number will appears on the screen

to hard reset your phone – turn off your phone, turn on and quickly press and hold simultaneously green+*+3 keys till “formatting” message appears.
