How to clear Real Player History on Symbian Phones? If you ever wonder how to clear six recently played videos in Real Player, so this tutorial is for you.
One way to erase those histories is by going to directory:
c:/system/data for S60v1 and S60v2 devices or
c:/Private/10005A3E for s60v3 and S60v5 devices and you need to capsoff your phone first.
Then locate mediaplay.dat file in the directory and delete it.
You need to use third party file manager such as X-plore by Lonely Cat Games to access to system folder.
And for s60v3v5 phone, you need to hack your phone before can get access to system folder
For newer s60v3v5 phones, this method is not necessary anymore because you can just simply erase histories by;
open Real Player, >> Recently Played >> Options >> Clear List >> Yes
The history now successfully erased. Do this every time you want to erase the history.
